Neuvokas perhe ja Ilo kasvaa liikkuen

Pienten lasten ikävaiheisiin kuuluvat uhmakohtaukset ja itsenäistymispyrkimykset vaativat mitä moninaisempia konsteja arjesta selviytymiseen. Virikkeitä tulee joka tuutista ja lasten huomiosta kilpailee monenlaiset ruudut ja vempeleet. Perusarkikin sisältää virikkeitä paljon: päiväkoti- tai koulupäivä, harrastusryhmät, kaupat, sosiaaliset tilanteet, tunnekuohut ym. Pieni lapsi tarvitsee aikuisen tukea hallitakseen ympäröivää maailmaa.

Perheet ovat hyvin neuvokkaita löytämään ratkaisuja lasten kanssa touhutessa ja ainahan voi ottaa käyttöön toisen perheen hyväksi havaitut konstit. Sen lisäksi kaikilla on käytössä www.neuvokasperhe.fi sivut, jotka tarjoavat hyvin käytännönläheisiä ideoita perheen arjen haasteisiin. Arjen tutut rutiinit kuten päivärytmi, ateriat, liikunta ja lepo sekä tutut toistuvat tavat tuovat lapselle turvallisuutta ja lisäävät arjen hallintaa.

Neuvokas perhe on osa Sydänliiton toimintaa ja se on valittu yhdeksi hallituksen kärkihankkeeksi vuosille 2017 – 2018. Kärkihankkeen avulla tuetaan terveydenhoitajien liikunta- ja ravitsemusohjausta kouluttamalla kaikki kunnat Neuvokas perhe -menetelmän käyttäjiksi. Lisäksi Etelä-Pohjanmaalla kärkihankkeen alla juurrutetaan Neuvokas perhe käyttöä tulevassa uudessa sote-tilanteessa sekä rakennetaan monialaista ammattilaisten työtapaa perheiden elintapaohjaukseen.

Kauhajoen varhaiskasvatus on mukana järjestämässä Neuvokas perhe –tapahtumaa, joka on tarkoitettu alle kouluikäisten lasten perheille. Tapahtuma tarjoaa myös isommille sisaruksille kivan mahdollisuuden touhuta pienempien sisarusten kanssa. Tapahtuman tarkoituksena on tuoda lapsiperheiden tietoisuuteen Neuvokas perhe –toimintamallin mahdollisuudet arjen haasteissa, tarjota erilaisia keinoja koko perheen yhdessä liikkumiseen, ruokailuun ja arjen muihin rutiineihin sekä tarjota toiminnallista ja mukavaa yhdessä oloa koko perheelle.

Tapahtuman järjestelyissä ovat mukana Kauhajoen kaupungin varhaiskasvatus, ruokapalvelut ja yleinen kulttuuritoimi, Suupohjan liikelaitoskuntayhtymän neuvolapalvelut ja hammashuolto, Kauhajoen seurakunta, Kauhajoen mielenterveysseura, Kauhajoen 4H yhdistys sekä Pohjanmaan Liikunta ja Urheilu ry.

Lapsella on oikeus liikkumiseen ja leikkiin joka päivä

Neuvokas perhe -tapahtumassa on mukana varhaiskasvatuksessa jo toista vuotta toimiva Liikkuva varhaiskasvatus –hanke. Hankkeen kautta varhaiskasvatuksen toimintaan jalkautetaan valtakunnallista Ilo kasvaa liikkuen –ohjelmaa, jonka päämääränä on liikuntamyönteisen toimintakulttuurin toteutuminen varhaiskasvatuksen yksiköissä.

Ilo kasvaa liikkuen toteuttaa varhaisvuosien fyysisen aktiivisuuden suosituksia, soiden tavoitteena on vähintään kolme tuntia liikettä päivässä. Suositus koostuu kuormittavuudeltaan monipuolisesta liikkumisesta: kevyestä liikunnasta ja reippaasta ulkoilusta sekä erittäin vauhdikkaasta fyysisestä aktiivisuudesta. Päivittäinen liikunta on lapsen kehitykselle, kasvulle ja oppimiselle yhtä tärkeää kuin riittävä uni ja terveellinen ravinto.

Monet perheet ovat löytäneet Liikkuva varhaiskasvatus -hankkeen järjestämät perheliikuntaillat, joita järjestetään joka viikko yhteistyössä erilaisten liikkumista edistävien tahojen kanssa.
